In addition, they would much rather spend their time enjoying the fruits of their labor from the spring and summer yard work. If that sounds like you, then here are a few ways to make your winter time spent outside a bit more entertaining and comfortable: Fire Pit A fire pit is the least expensive and quickest way to turn your patio into a relaxing and warm space during the winter. It doesn’t require much to get it going and is the perfect start to any outside gathering. Furniture This one goes pretty much without saying, but having some type of furniture outside will make it more comfortable, especially to those who choose to pair it with the fire pit. Just make sure that the material is weatherproof and that there are covers for each of them as well. Television If your setup includes a covered area or is screened in, a television is this best option for entertaining a group of people with the least amount of effort. Whether it’s sports or even those Christmas movies you planned on watching inside, everyone can find something they like to watch while drinking something warm, sitting next to a fire, and watching their favorite show!
