    Clover School District Auditorium – Performing Arts Series / David Holt & Josh Goforth – Family Night XXI | January 28, 7 PM

    Four time Grammy Award winner, David Holt, and rising acoustic music star and Grammy nominee, Josh Goforth, join together to bring to life the joy and spirit of old time mountain music and stories. Between them, they combine the virtuosic sounds of guitar, banjo, fiddle, slide guitar, mandolin and a world of exciting rhythm instruments from ham-bone to spoons, stump fiddle, rhythm bones, jaw harp and even a paper bag. With songs and tunes learned from NC musical mentors, Holt and Goforth weave stories, film and photography into an unforgettable multimedia concert kaleidoscope. Carolina Heroes is a show about folk traditions that are exploding with creative energy and fun! This event will appeal to all ages in this ultimate family night performance!

    Martin Luther King, Jr. PARADE | January 18, 1 – 4 PM

    10 N. Roosevelt Street, York, SC. Presented by the Western York County NAACP. Please join us in celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. There will be special guest bands, entertainment, local dining and shopping, and more. Parade Line Up: 11 AM; Start time: 1 PM The route starts at Whitesides Cleaners at Madison St. and Congress, and will continue to Pickering Street. Band Round Up and Presentations following Parade.
