Manning Kimmel: So, Jay Rinehart, we talked about last week, opportunities and challenges, pluses and minuses for every growing community that they have to face. We talked about challenges. This week, we want to talk about opportunities—this is going to be easier.
Jay Rinehart: That's right, Manning. Well, when you talk about opportunities, we talk about the fact that our values are going up in this area. That also, when you have higher values, you attract different types of development. And people look around and go, "Wow, Rock Hill never had this! Oh, Lancaster never had this! Oh, Fort Mill, wow, look what we can go to—a white tablecloth dinner!" And it's really as comparable to Charlotte quality. So, it's a neat thing for us to have; it's quality of life. We also have all the things—I mean, when you look at what the city of Rock Hill has invested in our quality of life over the last—just call it 10 years—it's significant. That's for our kids, for our grandkids, but also for us.
Manning Kimmel: And look at what the county is doing with all of its open-space parks. You look at Lake Wylie, you look at Carowinds, you look at all these things, and we've got the coast just a few hours away.
Jay Rinehart: Well, when people come here and they look at our area, they go, "Oh, and I get this!" And then, of course, we jokingly say, "And behind door number two, we also have this, and behind door number three, this!" So, there are great opportunities here. And, we just attract a good quality of people to our area.
